FV LIEN CHUN FA NO.6 - Kenting National Park

The FV Lien Chun Fa No.6 is a site we always make time for when we’re in Kenting. It's a proper wreck dive, sitting upright at 28 meters, and it feels like stepping back in time. We love exploring the bridge area, especially when the light shafts through the upper structures, illuminating schools of glassfish that shimmer like scattered glitter. What really grabs us about this wreck is how much it has become a home. Giant moray eels peek out from every crevice, and the hull is draped in soft corals, providing shelter for everything from lionfish to nimble clownfish. The current can be tricky sometimes, so we always plan our dive for slack tide, usually early morning, to get the best conditions for a relaxed penetration of the holds. Keep an eye out for the resident batfish patrolling the mast; they're quite curious. This site really suits divers comfortable with deeper wrecks who appreciate the quiet drama of a ship reclaimed by the sea.
