DivePlnr is an online directory of scuba diving sites, dive centres, and marine wildlife information worldwide. The Service provides informational content about diving destinations, including location data, species information, and dive centre listings.
3. Use of Content
The content on DivePlnr is provided for informational purposes only. Dive site data is sourced from OpenStreetMap and other public databases. Marine species data is sourced from OBIS (Ocean Biodiversity Information System), WoRMS (World Register of Marine Species), and Wikidata. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties about the completeness or reliability of any information.
4. User Accounts
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Safety Disclaimer
Scuba diving is an inherently risky activity. DivePlnr does not provide diving instruction, safety guidance, or certifications. Always dive within your training and certification level, use properly maintained equipment, and follow local regulations. DivePlnr is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from diving activities.
6. Intellectual Property
The DivePlnr name, logo, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. Species images are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under their respective licences. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence.
7. Limitation of Liability
DivePlnr shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to errors in dive site information, inaccurate depth data, or outdated dive centre contact details.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
