The Berry Islands, a cluster of thirty small cays just north of Nassau, offer a quieter dive experience away from the busier spots. We're talking shallow reefs, many of them close to shore, making for relaxed, easy diving, often around a maximum depth of 12m. While the game fish reputation here mostly attracts anglers chasing marlin, we’ve found the conservation efforts have kept the reefs pretty healthy. Expect to drift along easy currents, spotting plenty of reef fish and maybe even a passing pilot whale if you’re lucky. It's a great choice if you're looking for unhurried, shallow dives, particularly good for those newer to diving or anyone keen on a slow-paced afternoon exploring the reef.
