PINTA - Naples & Campania

The Pinta wreck, resting in the shallows off San Marco di Castellabate, is an accessible piece of history. This motor vessel went down in 1971, and now she’s a home for various small critters. At just 3 meters deep, it's perfect for a relaxed dive or even a snorkel, with light penetration highlighting the deck structures and scattered debris. We found schools of damselfish flitting through the superstructure, and plenty of nudibranchs if you look closely. It’s a great spot for newer divers or those who prefer a longer, shallower bottom time.
