Ras il-Ħobż - Gozo

Ras il-Ħobż, or "Qala I," sits on Gozo's southeast coast, and we find it's a solid, reliable dive. You’ll kick down to a seabed around 20 metres, where three prominent pinnacles rise, each one a mini ecosystem. Look closely and you’ll spot those vibrant Devonshire cup corals and bushy corals clinging to the rock faces. We’ve often seen ornate wrasse flitting between the crags, and on a lucky day, a common spiny lobster peeking from a crevice. It’s generally a pretty calm spot, making it a good choice if you're looking for a relaxing dive without strong currents, and it’s especially nice for photography.
