Reqqa Point - Gozo

Reqqa Point often gets overshadowed by Gozo’s bigger names, but we find it a solid choice, particularly when the north-westerly winds are up. The entry is straightforward via a ladder, dropping you into a reef slope that dips down to around 20 metres, where the light starts to soften. You’ll find plenty of painted combers darting around the rocks, and it's a reliable spot for common spiny lobsters tucked into crevices. Keep an eye out for patches of scarlet coral and bushy coral clinging to the overhangs. It’s a good, easy dive for shaking off the rust or just enjoying a relaxed afternoon underwater.
