ROBERTA - Gozo

Roberta, a former fishing vessel, ran aground and was later removed, so what’s left of her sits in a very shallow patch of water off Gozo. We're talking just 5 metres deep, max. She's broken up quite a bit now, but you can still pick out the ribs of her hull and some of the engine components. It’s a site for a very relaxed second dive or a long safety stop, really, or perhaps for newer divers getting a feel for wrecks without any depth pressure. Look closely among the wreckage; crabs and small blennies often hide in the nooks and crannies. If you're into macro life, it’s worth taking your time here.
