Ray's Dive Adventure - Tioman Island

Ray’s Dive Adventure is one of those Tioman sites that just keeps giving. We’ve had some truly fantastic dives here, the kind where you surface buzzing because you spotted something new at every turn. It’s a riot of colour and activity, particularly with the clown anemonefish defending their sebae anemones – always good for a chuckle. Look closer, and you’ll often spot the sneaky wrasse darting between coral heads, alongside foxface and the striking checkered seaperch. What we really love about Ray's is the sheer density of coral, especially the Chinese lettuce and staghorn formations. They provide incredible shelter for juvenile fish. We’ve seen blacktip reef sharks here, cruising out on the edge of visibility, adding that touch of excitement. Keep an eye out for the brown sandfish on the bottom too, they're surprisingly charismatic. Our favourite part has to be finning slowly over the Pectinia coral, just watching the ecosystem unfold. This spot is perfect for photographers or anyone who enjoys a slow, deliberate dive, really soaking in the details.
