Salang Jetty - Tioman Island

Salang Jetty in Tioman is a pretty relaxed shore dive, perfect if you’re just getting your fins wet or looking for an easy second dive. Drop down to about 13 metres, right around the jetty pillars, and you’ll find a surprising amount of soft coral growth clinging to the structures. We usually spot schools of small snappers darting between the pilings, and keep an eye out for a few resident moray eels peeking from crevices. It’s a gentle introduction to Tioman’s reefs, especially good for photographers wanting to practice on macro subjects without fighting a current.
