SMIT-LLOYD 19 - Tioman Island

The Smit-Lloyd 19 sits in an unusual spot, right at the surface, which makes it a unique wreck for Tioman. This isn't a deep dive, given its 2-meter maximum depth, making it accessible to pretty much anyone who can snorkel or do a quick surface dive. The old tug, scuttled back in 1982, has become a home for a surprising amount of fish. You'll often find schools of fusiliers weaving through the superstructure, with damselfish darting in and out of the metalwork. It’s a great spot for photographers looking for shallow wreck shots or newer divers getting a feel for overhead environments without the depth concerns.
