Ao Sapparot (Pineapple Bay) - Mergui Archipelago

Ao Sapparot, or Pineapple Bay, is a pleasant, easy dive, perfect for warming up in the Mergui Archipelago. We've found the shallow reef, topping out at 20 meters, to be a relaxed spot for newer divers, or anyone just wanting a gentle fin around. The corals are quite healthy here, and you'll often see groups of snapper and fusiliers weaving through them. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but it's a calm introduction to Myanmar's underwater world, usually with mild currents.
