SOUTH SEA - Anilao

The South Sea wreck in Anilao offers a different kind of dive compared to the usual coral slopes. This isn't a deep plunge, topping out around 25 meters, making it accessible for many. We found the wreck itself, a steamship that went down back in '74, a fascinating structure. It's broken up in parts but still retains enough form to explore, with a few swim-throughs here and there if you're comfortable. You'll see the metal structure now completely overgrown, attracting lionfish, schooling batfish, and plenty of nudibranchs if you look closely. It’s a good choice for those who appreciate wrecks as artificial reefs and enjoy a slower, more exploratory dive.
