The Austin Smith (Wreck) - Exuma Cays

The Austin Smith is a deliberately sunk Bahamian Defence Force vessel, sitting upright at 18 metres. It’s a solid pick for newer wreck divers, or anyone looking for a relaxed exploration. We usually find schools of jacks circling the mast, and often a nurse shark or two tucked away under the bow. You can swim through the main deck and cargo holds, watching for barracuda lurking in the shadows. It’s an easy, enjoyable dive, typically with good visibility.
