Kumomi Ushitsuki Rock - Izu Peninsula
Kumomi's Ushitsuki Rock is a gentle introduction to Izu diving. It’s a shallow spot, topping out at 19 metres, making it very comfortable for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed multi-dive day. We often find juvenile moray eels tucked into the rocky crevices, along with groups of sea bream and the occasional small octopus hiding in plain sight. It’s a pleasant, easy dive, perfect for getting comfortable in the water and spotting some of the smaller, shyer residents of the Japanese coast.
