The team at Kenting Long Jing Dive Resort are the real deal, perfect if you’re serious about your PADI progression or just want to dive with folks who know these waters inside out. We love their focus on skill development, from Open Water straight through to instructor level, making it a natural choice for divers looking to level up. You'll often find divemasters in training here, which means a rigorous approach to safety and technique filters down through every dive. We’ve had some cracking dives with them, particularly around the shallower fringing reefs near the resort. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs, especially after a good rain, when the freshwater runoff seems to bring them out in force. Our favourite time to dive here is early morning; you miss the crowds, and the light filtering through the water column, hitting the hard corals, is just something else. The visibility can vary, so don't expect Red Sea gin-clear conditions every day, but the sheer volume of macro life more than makes up for it. After a day underwater, the easy camaraderie back at the resort is a welcome bonus.
