HUEY FUH NO 11 - Kenting National Park

The Huey Fuh No 11 isn't your average Kenting dive; it's a genuine wreck exploration, the real deal. Sunk in a typhoon back in '95, this trawler lies upright at 30 metres, side-by-side with its sister ship, the No 12. We love the eerie atmosphere down here. Visibility can be hit or miss, but when it’s good, the sheer scale of these wrecks emerging from the gloom is impressive. Descending, you can make out the mast structure, now thickly encrusted with soft corals. Look closely for the schools of cardinalfish darting between the rusty plates. Our favourite part is peeking into the wheelhouse, imagining the chaos during that storm. It’s an advanced dive, best suited for those comfortable with deeper profiles and potential currents, but the reward is a tangible piece of maritime history.
