Shun ta - Kenting National Park

Shun ta is one of those easy-access wrecks, sitting right in the shallows at a mere one metre deep. It’s perfect for snorkelers or really shallow dives, and a good spot for new divers to get comfortable around a wreck without any depth stress. You can explore the bow and stern sections, which are fairly intact. Over the years, the wreck has become home to quite a few reef fish. You'll often spot schools of damselfish darting around the superstructure, and we’ve seen moray eels peeking out from darker crevices. It’s not a deep thrill, but a nice relaxed look at how quickly a ship can become part of the reef.
