Kerry Anne - New England

The Kerry Anne is quintessential New England wreck diving, a trawler sitting upright and mostly intact on a flat, sandy bottom. We love how accessible this wreck is, maxing out at 14.4 metres, making it a great option for divers looking to get into wreck specialities without extreme depth. It’s a good size too, big enough to spend a whole dive exploring the deck, looking into the wheelhouse, and poking around the stern, but not so vast you feel like you're missing things. The real beauty of the Kerry Anne, though, is how nature has reclaimed it. Barnacles crust every surface, anemones bloom from the railings, and you’ll often find cunner darting in and out of the superstructure. We’ve seen tautog lurking under the deck plates, big lobsters tucked into every crevice, and on a good day, the visibility lets you appreciate the entire silhouette as you descend. Go on a calm morning, ideally after a few days without strong winds, and you’ll experience it at its best. Just remember your drysuit, this is New England, after all.
