Vietnam Active Phu Quoc Diving Center - Koh Tang & Offshore
The team at Vietnam Active Phu Quoc Diving Center are your best bet for exploring the Koh Tang and Offshore islands, especially if you're coming from Phu Quoc. We love their dedication to the diving itself, rather than just the boat ride. They're a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, so you know the training is solid, whether you’re stepping into your first Open Water course or looking to advance your skills. What really stands out with Vietnam Active is their commitment to getting you to the best spots. We’ve had some fantastic dives out there, particularly around Koh Tang, where the granite boulders create some dramatic swim-throughs. Keep an eye out for the schooling fusiliers, sometimes so thick they practically block the light. Our favourite memory is drifting along the walls, watching for curious batfish and the occasional reef shark gliding by. They run efficient trips, often with smaller groups than some of the bigger operators, which makes a huge difference to the experience. We’d suggest chatting with them about the currents; they can be strong, but that often brings in the bigger pelagics.
