Gorontalo Diving: Tomini Bay, North Sulawesi - Sulawesi

Gorontalo, tucked away in Tomini Bay, feels like a proper dive expedition. It’s a wall diving spot, with healthy reefs that drop off dramatically, making it engaging whether you’re new to walls or have a few hundred under your belt. We’ve found the macro life here pretty fantastic-nudibranchs, pygmy seahorses, and all sorts of tiny critters hiding in plain sight. And yes, whale sharks do pass through; it’s never a guarantee, but seeing one cruise by the wall is something else entirely. It’s off the beaten track, so expect a quieter experience than some of the busier spots in North Sulawesi.
