Mushroom Rock - Sulawesi

Mushroom Rock, off Sulawesi, does what it says on the tin. It's a pinnacle, shaped like a mushroom, and it’s home to a lot of staghorn coral. You'll see patches of it everywhere, providing shelter for various small reef fish. We also spotted a few cowries tucked into crevices and, if you look closely, you might catch a burrowing urchin. It’s a pretty straightforward dive, generally calm, making it a good choice for newer divers or for a relaxed second dive. Not a lot of big pelagics here, but it's a pleasant enough spot for a gentle explore.
