THORBECKE - Sulawesi

Thorbecke is a shallow wreck dive in Sulawesi, perfect for a relaxed exploration. The old sailing vessel rests in just two meters of water, making it accessible to pretty much anyone, even snorkelers. We found the stern section especially interesting, with its wooden ribs now home to clusters of soft corals and anemones. Look closely and you’ll spot resident clownfish darting between the tentacles, while small reef fish like damselfish flit in and out of the darker nooks. It's not a deep, dramatic wreck, but its gentle character and ease of access make it a pleasant spot for a lazy afternoon dive.
