OFFSHORE B-7502 - Anilao

Offshore B-7502 is one of those shallow wrecks that just keeps giving. This old barge, sunk in '86, sits upright, almost like it planned to stay. We love the way the light filters through the 10-meter depth, illuminating the growth that’s taken over the metal. Look closely and you'll spot schools of juvenile snapper darting in and out of the hold, and the occasional moray eel peeking from a crevice. The wreck itself is fairly intact, making for some nice swim-throughs if you’re comfortable with overhead environments. Our favourite part is the bow, where the coral has really taken hold, creating miniature ecosystems. It’s a fantastic spot for photographers, especially macro enthusiasts, as the light is consistently good and the critter density is high. Just be mindful of other divers, as it can get a bit crowded on weekends. This site is perfect for a relaxed second dive or anyone keen on spending time exploring a piece of history without the pressure of depth.
