Koh Mat Wai Noi / เกาะมัดหวายน้อย - Gulf of Thailand
Koh Mat Wai Noi is a mellow little spot in the Gulf, perfect for a relaxed dive or even a snorkel. With a maximum depth of 11 metres, it’s an ideal place for newer divers to build confidence, or for anyone looking for an easy-going afternoon underwater. You'll likely drift over some sandy patches and find groups of rabbitfish grazing. We've often seen small schools of juvenile snapper hanging around the few rock formations, and there are usually a few colourful anemones hosting their resident clownfish. It’s not a thrill-a-minute site, but it’s consistently pleasant and great for macro spotting if you take your time.
