Santana Diving & Canoeing - Similan Islands
The team at Santana Diving & Canoeing really hit a sweet spot for anyone wanting to properly explore the Similans without the usual day-trip rush. We love that they focus on liveaboard trips; it just gives you so much more time to actually *be* there. Our favourite part about diving with them is how they manage to make even crowded sites feel intimate, maybe it’s the smaller groups or the experienced guides who know exactly when to drop in for the best light on a particular swim-through. They’re PADI through and through, offering everything from your very first bubbles with Discover Scuba right up to instructor development. But honestly, if you're looking at Santana, you’re probably after those multi-day Similan adventures. Imagine waking up to the smell of salt, slipping into the water before anyone else, watching a reef shark cruise by in the morning quiet. We’d suggest them particularly if you’re keen on seeing specific Similan highlights like Elephant Head Rock, where the granite boulders create these incredible labyrinths, or the vibrant soft corals around Koh Bon. They really excel at making those longer trips comfortable and genuinely rewarding.
