Caits Reef - Cocos (Keeling) Islands

Fam Slope offers a gentle drift along a fairly steep incline, dipping down to about 21 metres. We typically find ourselves slowly scanning the gorgonian corals that pepper the slope, which are known to host a good few pygmy seahorses, including Denise's. It's a site for slowing down, letting the current do the work, and focusing on the small stuff – we’ve spotted a good number of gobies and dottybacks tucked into the coral. Visibility is usually decent, around 17 metres, making it an easy-going dive suitable for most experience levels who enjoy macro hunting.
