With 288+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, eagle rays, humpback whales and nurse sharks - Ilet Requin offers some of Sandy Island's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Ilet Requin is a shallow Anguilla site, just off Sandy Island, perfect for new divers. It’s mostly sand at 10 meters, but keep an eye out for southern stingrays gliding along the bottom and perhaps a few nurse sharks tucked under ledges. We think it’s a good spot for a relaxed second dive or a skills refresher.
