With 288+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, eagle rays, humpback whales and nurse sharks - Indigo Bay offers some of Sandy Island's richest reef diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Indigo Bay is a shallow reef dive, good for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon in Anguilla. The coral here, mostly hard corals, isn't particularly dense, but it's a solid spot to poke around in the sand patches. We've seen stingrays burying themselves and the usual suspects of parrotfish and wrasse. It’s a pleasant, easy dive, usually calm.
