Le tombant des aviateurs - Sandy Island

Le tombant des aviateurs, just off Sandy Island, is a really mellow wall dive. It’s pretty shallow, topping out around 18 metres, which makes it a good spot for newer divers to get comfortable with wall diving without feeling too exposed. The wall itself isn’t dramatic, more of a gentle slope with some nice coral formations where we’ve seen plenty of angelfish and parrotfish picking away. You’ll spend most of your time exploring the nooks and crannies, looking for sleepy nurse sharks tucked under ledges. It's a nice easy dive, great for an afternoon drift after lunch.
