Nurse Spit, off Long Island, holds a quieter charm than some of the flashier Bahamian spots. We're talking sand flats meeting a coral reef, a perfect setup for those who love to slow down and really look. This is where you might find Shortchin Stargazers buried in the sand, just their eyes peeking out, or catch a Shy Brotula darting into a crevice. It’s a macro photographer’s playground, really, with critters like Mouse Cones and Goldspot Gobies making regular appearances. If you're into spotting the smaller, more elusive stuff over big pelagics, Nurse Spit offers a rewarding dive.
