With 362+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and humpback whales - Halloween Reef offers some of Long Island's richest reef diving. Water ranges 26-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Halloween Reef, off Long Island, delivers a solid Bahamian coral experience. We’ve found the reefscape here healthy, with a good representation of Caribbean hard and soft corals. You’ll spot a variety of reef fish, often schooling, and we’ve had good luck seeing turtles pass through. It’s a comfortable dive for most skill levels, offering reliable conditions.
