Blue Bay the Wall - Curaçao Southeast

Dream Maker, for us, is one of those sites that just feels good. It’s right on the point of the main reef, and you start super shallow, sometimes just 3 meters, which is fantastic for a relaxed entry or if you’ve got a confident snorkeler with you. We especially love the maze of crevices and swim-throughs here, perfect for poking around and seeing what’s hiding. You can easily spend an entire dive just exploring the overhangs, watching the resident blacktip and whitetip reef sharks cruise by, or spotting a green or hawksbill turtle resting under a ledge. The real draw, though, is how much there is to see if you take it slow. We’ve found ornate ghost pipefish tucked into the soft corals more than once – a real treat. And the coral diversity is great; you get big stands of staghorn coral, delicate starflower coral, and patches of vibrant fire coral. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff too, the adorning dwarfgoby and threadfin cardinalfish are always milling about. It’s a site that rewards patience, whether you're into wide-angle shots of the reef sharks or getting up close for a macro of a nudibranch. For divers of most experience levels, it's a calm, captivating dive.
