Dive Center Scuba Do - Curaçao Southeast

Scuba Do, right in front of the dive shop itself, is a real surprise. You step off the dock and are immediately over a sandy slope dotted with patch reefs, but the real show starts when you hit the mini wall. It’s not dramatic, maybe dropping to 18-20 meters, but it’s absolutely packed. We’ve spent entire dives just hovering here, eyes peeled. The wall is covered in corals, and we mean *covered*. Look for the Finger Coral, it's particularly lush. What we really love though, are the smaller creatures tucked into every crevice. We've spotted Long-snout Seahorses here more times than anywhere else on the island, usually clinging to a sponge or a bit of soft coral. Keep an eye out for Emerald Sleepers resting on the sand patches, and the Spinythroat Scorpionfish, they blend in so well you really have to search. The Pearlfish are here too, tiny and quick. It’s a site for slow diving, for those who love to find the camouflaged and the cryptic. Come in the morning before any wind picks up, the light is usually better for photography then. It’s perfect for a relaxed second dive or when you just want easy access to good diving.
