Aguadilla
Protected Area
Tres Palmas de Rincón Marine Reserve
Why dive here
With 503+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue sharks, dolphins, eagle rays and humpback whales - Aguadilla offers some of Rincon & West Coast's richest diving. Water sits around 27°C.
Aguadilla is a pretty chilled out spot, a good introduction to diving on Puerto Rico's west coast. At 14 meters, it’s a gentle slope, ideal for divers just getting their fins wet or those who prefer a relaxed pace. We’ve seen plenty of the usual suspects here – parrotfish munching away, some smaller wrasse darting through the coral patches. It’s a comfortable dive, and we often recommend it as a warm-up before heading to some of the deeper sites around Rincón.
