With 503+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue sharks, dolphins, eagle rays and humpback whales - Monito offers some of Rincon & West Coast's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Monito, off Puerto Rico's west coast, gives you some reliable drift diving. We often see schooling jacks and the occasional nurse shark resting on the sand patches. It's a good spot for divers comfortable with a bit of current, offering a straightforward profile along the reef wall. Visibility can be a bit variable, but on a good day, it's a pleasant dive.
