Roca Peligrosa, Danger Rock - Caribbean Coast

Sylvia's Reef on Cayman Brac’s north side is one of those spots we always make time for. It’s got a relaxed vibe, and at just 17 meters deep, you can spend a good long while poking around. The entry can be a bit tricky, a short dirt path off the main road, but it opens up into a lovely wall dive. We love the big coral heads here; they’re full of nooks and crannies to explore. Keep an eye out for conchfish tucked away in empty shells, and we've often spotted sand stargazers peeking out from the sandy patches. You'll definitely see plenty of angelfish, the queens and French varieties are always cruising past. It’s a gentle drift most days, with visibility often hitting 20 meters, making for easy diving. If you’re into macro life and want a chill dive without too much current, Sylvia’s Reef is a solid choice.
