SAMANTHA - Caribbean Coast
The *Samantha* wreck lies just off Guatemala’s Caribbean coast, an accessible dive that tells a bit of a story. This isn't a deep dive, sitting at a maximum of three meters, making it ideal for snorkelers or newer divers looking for a first wreck experience. The motor vessel ran aground in 1991, and now its 75-meter frame has become a home for the local residents. We’ve seen schools of snapper darting in and out of the superstructure, and plenty of damselfish holding territory among the growth. It’s a nice little exploration, easy to navigate, and a good way to spend an afternoon if you’re in the area.
