With 207+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, lemon sharks, seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Williams Cay offers some of Corn Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest May, September, October.
Williams Cay isn't the flashiest spot around the Corn Islands, but it’s a solid dive for those who appreciate the smaller stuff. We’ve found a decent collection of reef fish here, particularly Grunts and Mojarras hanging out near the coral heads. Look closely in the nooks and crannies for Opossum Pipefish – they’re masters of disguise, so you’ll need a keen eye. It’s generally a pretty calm dive, making it a good choice for newer divers or anyone wanting a relaxed afternoon underwater without battling strong currents.
