Flynn Reef - Taveuni & Somosomo Strait
John Rock in Alaska is a solid, no-frills dive, especially if you’re into the colder water critters. You’re dropping onto a rocky reef, which we found loaded with sunflower stars, their arms slowly reaching. Keep an eye out for horned shrimp tucked into crevices and, if you’re lucky, a giant octopus. It's a great spot for those who appreciate the smaller, more unique finds rather than big pelagics.
