The Corner - Taveuni & Somosomo Strait
The Corner, as the name suggests, sits on a bend in the Somosomo Strait, where currents often converge. This brings in a steady flow of nutrients, attracting schools of reef fish, barracuda, and various pelagic species. It’s a good spot for divers comfortable with drift diving, offering a chance to see larger marine life pass through. We’d suggest keeping an eye out for grey reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections.
