Kimbe Island Bommie - Kimbe Bay
Kimbe Island Bommie is one of those spots where you just drop in and let the current do its thing. It's a proper pinnacle, rising from the depths, and it acts like a magnet for pelagics. We’ve seen quite a few sharks here – grey reefs mostly, hanging in the flow, sometimes a silvertip or two cruising by. Below them, schools of rainbow runners and tuna often buzz around, picking off smaller fish. It’s a drift dive, so you just go with it, letting the action come to you. A good one for divers who appreciate a strong current and larger predators.
