Star Of Russia - Port Vila & Efate
The Star of Russia wreck offers a good look into Port Vila's maritime history. She sits upright, pretty intact, and the fact she's a sailing ship, not some rusty freighter, gives her a unique grace on the seabed. You'll swim through her holds, noting the mast sections, and there’s plenty of smaller stuff like porcelain insulators if you look closely. It's a nice easy dive, not too deep, so we often see less experienced divers enjoying the penetration, with plenty of reef fish and nudibranchs making homes in the metalwork.
