Hamahiga Beach - Okinawa Main Island
Hamahiga Beach is a very shallow, protected spot, perfect for getting comfortable with your gear or trying out freediving. The sandy bottom stretches out at about four metres, making it an easy entry point for beginners. You won't find dramatic coral walls here, but it's a calm place to practice skills and perhaps spot some small, curious fish in the seagrass. Ideal for first-timers or a relaxed dip.
