With 262+ marine species recorded in the area - including bull sharks, humpback whales, seahorses, sea turtles and clownfish - Saki-Motobu offers some of Okinawa Main Island's richest diving.
Saki-Motobu offers a gentle introduction to Okinawan diving, perfect for beginners or those getting reacquainted with their gear. It's a shallow sandy bottom, topping out at 12 metres, with scattered coral bommies where we often find various colourful reef fish darting between the branches. You won't find dramatic drop-offs here, but it’s a calm, easy dive for relaxed exploration.
