Turtle Mansion, off Okinawa Main Island, is a solid choice for a mellow dive. Dropping to 19m, it’s easy enough for newer divers to feel comfortable, with no tricky currents to worry about. We’ve had pleasant encounters here with green sea turtles, often just resting on the sand or cruising by, seemingly unfazed by divers. It’s a good spot to practice your buoyancy and just soak in the quiet, especially if you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon underwater rather than a high-adrenaline drift.
