With 262+ marine species recorded in the area - including bull sharks, humpback whales, seahorses, sea turtles and clownfish - Yamada Point offers some of Okinawa Main Island's richest reef diving.
Yamada Point is a good spot for newer divers in Okinawa. The maximum depth is a comfortable 13 metres, so it’s easy on air and good for getting comfortable in the water. You'll often find a decent variety of smaller reef fish here, along with some soft corals. It's a relaxed dive, ideal for those building their confidence or looking for a calm afternoon outing.
