With 262+ marine species recorded in the area - including bull sharks, humpback whales, seahorses, sea turtles and clownfish - Yoron Island offers some of Okinawa Main Island's richest diving.
Yoron Island is a gentle introduction to Okinawa's diving, shallow and calm. It’s a good spot for newer divers, with a flat bottom at 21 meters, easy to navigate. You’ll typically see smaller reef fish darting around, though it’s not known for big pelagics. We’d suggest it for an easy second dive or for getting comfortable in the water.
