With 537+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, giant moray eels, seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Sail Rock offers some of Kenting National Park's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 24-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
Sail Rock, or Chuanfan Rock, is a solid pinnacle jutting out of the water near Kenting. It’s a good spot for a relaxed shallow dive, often used for training or a gentle second dive. You’ll typically see schools of barracuda, some pufferfish, and clownfish amongst the anemones. The currents here are usually mild, making it suitable for newer divers and those looking for an easy swim.
