Ocean Dream Divers - Inner Islands
The team at Ocean Dream Divers have a relaxed confidence we really appreciate. Located right on Beau Vallon, they avoid the big resort rush, instead focusing on smaller groups and a more personal dive experience. We love that they really listen to what you want to see, rather than sticking to a rigid schedule. If you’re looking for a dive shop that feels like diving with friends who happen to know all the best spots, this is it. They specialise in exploring the granite formations and the deeper reefs around Mahé, and we've had some fantastic dives with them on sites like Brissare Rocks and the wreck of the *Ennerdale*. The water here can feel incredibly warm, almost like bathwater, especially in the shallows. Our favourite tip for diving with Ocean Dream Divers is to ask about their early morning trips; getting out before the day boats often means encountering more pelagics, like the resident eagle rays that glide through the channels. Visibility can vary, but on a good day, you'll see the schools of fusiliers so thick they block out the sun, and the bright flash of parrotfish chomping on the coral. They don’t rent equipment, so remember to bring your own, or arrange it elsewhere beforehand.
