dfh - Kornati Islands

The Kornati Islands, as a whole, are special, but dfh really stands out. We love this site for its vibrant reds and oranges, especially if you catch it on a sunny afternoon. You'll see plenty of Bushy Coral, like dense little forests, and Scarlet Coral painting the rocks. It's a fantastic spot for spotting bottom dwellers, too, with nursehounds often tucked into crevices and the occasional stingray gliding over the seabed. Keep an eye out for larger fish like Pandora and Porgy cruising by; we’ve even seen dory here, which is always a treat. The Beadlet anemones add splashes of deep red to the rocks, and it's worth taking your time to peer into every nook for Common octopus or maybe even an abalone. This site really suits divers who enjoy a slower pace, those who like to hunt for macro life and appreciate the rich colours of the Mediterranean. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a loggerhead turtle on the deeper edges, though they tend to be shy.
